This
is a picture of the backhouses on my uncle Sethu's (sp?) beachfront
property. This site looked absolutely gorgeous, which is quite
remarkable considering this property was tremendously damaged during
the tsunami of 2004.
Picture of my dad having a cigarette and chilling with his homeboys at the beachhouse.
Two canoers maneuvering the waves of the ocean.
One
of my dad's best friends enjoying the waters. I affectionately
call him "my little friend" because he is only 5 ft 1inches tall.
( I'm 5'6 so I always must relish the moments I get a chance to
actually feel tall.)
Cows are everywhere in India, and yes, they even graze some of the beaches of Tamil Nadu (a southern state in India).
Sethu (sp?) and I just chilling.
These
are pictures of temples we visited. We took an overnight
train to a place south of Chennai. The picture on the right is of
our family temple. These temples are in a small village in the
southernmost part of India. The people in this village lead an
extremely simple life and there are even stray dogs and lambs and goats
running about.
The above pictures are of the priests in the temple performing ceremonies.
The
pic on the left of my oldest cousin Ramesh and myself. The other
picture is of my father and me outside the temple.
