From 9. March till the 15. March 2006 I was in
Mexico
for a reunion with some of the great people I befriended during my stay
in the Czech Republic. My friends and I plalnned months ahead of
time to meet in Mexico and enjoy each other's company once again.
Some of them stayed for as long as a month to enjoy the wonderful
weather of Mexico. Due to my university obligations I only had
about a week to spend in Mexico. While I was there we travelled
through
Mexico City,
Puebla, and
Oaxaca.

This is the cathedral (Zocalo) of Puebla

(Hungary), Gerald (Germany), Tereza (Czech Republic), and Albert
(Canada).

This is a well know market place in Oaxaca called el veinte de
noviembre. These ladies are sellling fried grasshoppers. Those
baskets are filled with nothing but fried grasshoppers. Yummy!

Everybody drinking
Becherovka and having fun on the rooftop of our hostel in Oaxaca.

Gerald and I chill out on the rooftop of our hostel in Oaxaca.

This is a pic of the ancient ruins around Oaxaca. These structures are truly breathtaking and need to be seen in person.

Another great view of the ruins.

Cathedral in Oaxaca
This is the Tule Tree of Santa Maria del Tule, Oaxaca Mexico. Simone and Ozler wave as we visit what many argue is the biggest tree in the world.

Center of Mexico City, that is by far the biggest flag I have ever seen.

National Museum in Mexico City

As you enter the museum you see paintings such as this on the ceiling.

This has to be one of the coolest photos I have ever taken. The
bartender at our hostel asked Ozler to dance with him. You should have
seen how graceful Ozler looked.
